So, last night in attempting to add more colour to the theme I encountered a few limitations on the theme itself. Now we have a site with video, audio, pictures and plenty of content which will all be added to tomorrow. Its about time I started heading towards Brockenhurst itself as I have been warned of some physical limitations, mostly traffic that I am about to encounter

So theres a fair amount of content up, I’ve had a look at some of the major terms we will discuss and tried to define these as best I could. These now reside on the glossary page. Still need to do a bit of work on the appearance though. I’ve chosen the vigilance theme, as it has plenty of options, most importantly I think we need some colour. I think you will agree..

Looks like we've made it

Great news, a bit of success is always a nice way to start the day. We are now in the eighth position on the front page of a google search using the keywords Brockenhurst Online. I’m particularly pleased with this as I thought I had made an error in naming the site, given that “online” is a frequently used search term and is used throughout most websites. I do so love it when a plan comes together…

So its Tuesday evening, tomorrow is the day we have reserved for the realisation of the site, things aren’t going as well as hoped in the google rankings, we are yet to hit the top twenty. There is still time though and with a good day tomorrow and a healthy dose of luck you never know what might happen.

I also thought I would do most of the look and feel elements of the site on Friday, but as you can see below, its looking decidedly drab.

So it looks like we have some competition on google, Brockenhurst online has been live for about fifteen minutes and we aren’t even on the top twenty pages of a google search. It seems this might be an uphill struggle
